Signs of Wear. 2013

As the user rocks on the stool, layers of sand will be removed by abrasion and act as a semi-permanent record of the relationship which has formed between the user, object and environment.

Hand carved from 3 different Australian Sandstones; Somersby, Wondabyne and Acrogem. The top of each stool has been made with Tasmanian Oak.
